Just put together a new rig this past week and overall I am pretty happy with it so far, I just need to get the thing tweaked and I feel as if I am about halfway there.

The system is a Q6700 Quadcore, Evga GTX260/216 super clocked edition, 4 megs DDR3 1066, Intel MB#?, 1T WesternDigital HD, Plextor multi getter done burner.

I have not over clocked the cpu since I have heard there is not much of a gain from 2.67 up to 3.0, that it just is not worth it.

Anyhow if anyone has any suggestions for tweaking this sim or Win7 in general please post up.

Steve,

Not sure but I have a I7 at 2.67 and it's fine. I see no need to overclock. The one thing I did to run better in iracing is memory. I have 9gigs of ram and that made way more difference than anything.
