Well the rain held off and we did good. Justin Strumpf won his race in the jr champ class, beating national champ Craig lutz. and i won Sr champ animal and Briggs medium. so it was an awesome sunny day of racing.

This was pulled from the Club NY forums. Congrats Justin and Richie! When you guys get time give us the link to the stats site so we can keep track of you.

well with it beeing 92 in the shade it was very hot out. justin didnt do to good as he was sitting 2nd after working his way up got dumped with 2 to go, kart is ok just bent the left side nerf bar and rear bumper was smashed in. as for me in sr champ animal took the heat race win started 1st but was plagued with issues. throttle stuck under one caution, then the header pipe broke in 1/2 then the throttle cable came undone lol. so no backing up my win from last week. as for briggs medium i took down th win again. so it was a mixed day for race 2, looking to kick ass the next race.

Heat must have been killer. That sucks that Justin got dumped. Bummer to hear that.

Bummer on your bad luck on the malfunctions too. Glad we dont have them here yet. That would just add to the frustration. Good to hear you kicked butt in the other series though.

How cool!! My Dad raced there in the late 50's early 60's. I taslked to Dan Turbush about 2 weeks ago. 1st time I've talked to him in 44 years. We grew up together with racin' Dads :-)
I thought it was cool seeing the standings flashed on TV and remembering that old racetrack :-)
