Thank you for your interest in the iRacers Serious Racers League. On behalf of all of the iRSRL drivers, Welcome Aboard! The iRSRL offers a variety of racing sim's and mod's to suit your interests.
As with any sport, there are rules to govern. The iRSRL is no different. We use the Sporting Code provided at the members website. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any of the iRSRL drivers. We are all here to help.
Every new member of the iRSRL is assigned a probationary status. Your first goal is to get the respect of all the drivers within the iRSRL. By doing this, you must show patience, give and take, and respect to the other drivers on the track.
At the top of the iRSRL main web site, you will find a link to our forums. You must register with the iRSRL forums, you must use your full real name, do not use initials or a fake racing ID (see format below). The forums are an excellent source of information. Familiarize yourself with them and start using them. Everyone in the iRSRL is here to help with any questions you may have, so do not be afraid to throw out a question on the boards. As soon as you can, post in the New Member Introductions thread and give everyone a little information about your self. Information that should be posted is: Name, Age, Where your from, Married/Single, Number of kids, Job/School, Hobbies, Racing Experience, Vehicles that you ike to race in. Post any information that you want and/or feel comfortable with. This will allow current members a chance to get to know you and welcome you to the iRSRL family.
You will have two weeks of free membership. During your free membership you will not be able to access the download section. Prior to your free membership expiration, a $12.00 registration fee will be required. This is to cover the costs of our Ventrilo server and starting next season the group will give away a $25.00 giftcertificate to iRacing.com for the most improved iRating by percentage. There will be something like that done every season from here on out. There is alot more planned, and if they start excepting private leagues, well we have enough started right now to get involved with that for the drivers here also. This is a private group all working together to better our experiance at iRacing.com. This group has helped me tremendously the last 10 weeks, as you can tell by my racing as of late.
